Jos\u00e9 heeft een onrustige nacht gehad. De darmen protesteren en moeten met immodium stilgelegd worden. De helft van de groep is om 6 uur dolfijnen gaan spotten en om 9 uur vertrekken we. Martha is doodziek en gaat samen met Jeroen rechtstreeks met teen taxi naar Ubud. Na een uurtje rijden stoppen we bij de Pura Beji in Sangsit, \u00e9\u00e9n van de meest bezienswaardige tempels van noord Bali.<\/p>\n

$\"DSCF0362\"$ <\/a>Dan rijden we door naar de Pura Meduwe Karang, \u201cde tempel van de heer der Akkers\u201d, in Kubalambahan. We vervolgen onze tempel excursie naar de Pura Ulan danu Batur, zes kilometer ten westen van Penlokan. Deze tempel vinden wij de mooiste van de drie.
\n $\"DSCF0376\"$ <\/a>In Penelokan gaan we lunchen in restaurant Grand Punsak Sari. We hebben een prachtig uitzicht en het buffet, nu wel het laatste?, is voortreffelijk (40.000 Rp). Jos\u00e9 is niet in orde en neemt alleen thee. Na de lunch komen we in de kloof van Gunung. We dalen een trap van 250 treden af en zien een rivierdal met aan beide kanten prachtige rijstterrassen. We zien koningsgraven die in de rotswand boven de rivier zijn uitgehakt. We bezoeken ook nog het schuin tegenover gelegen tempelcomplex.<\/p>\n

$\"DSCF0440\"$ <\/a>Dan is het nog een half uur rijden naar Graha Ubud Bali Resort. We krijgen kamer 102, een balzaal met prachtige badkamer en een verande. Martha is erg ziek, Ze heeft een salmonella infectie. Ik ga een uur internetten terwijl Jos\u00e9 even rust neemt. Dan drinken we op de veranda een large Bintang en een cola. We gaan op zoek naar een restaurant voor het diner. Barbekye, een leuk tentje naast ons hotel heeft nog een tafeltje vrij.<\/p>\n

$\"DSCF0441\"$ <\/a>Ik bestel een broodje hamburger en Jos\u00e9 een pizza. Smaakt allemaal voortreffelijk. We tafelen onder het genot van een Bintang nog gezellig na en wandelen dan naar onze kamer.
